Arrogant and Obstinate.....the American Progressive-Democrat Party

 Just this past week, there was an election here in America, and the people spoke pretty loudly and pretty clearly about what they do NOT like about our federal government. In fact, the republican party gained more seats in the House of Representatives than they had in a single election in nearly 70 years. IMO, that was a pretty easily understood message that the policies being implemented by the progressive dems that have had TOTAL control since 2009 are not being well received by average Americans in the heartland. The, to use BO's word, "shellacking" they received was based purely on the policies they are foisting upon an unwilling citizenry.

We all realize that the MSM is planted firmly in the pocket of these progressives and their socialistic ideals;  it has been exposed by the vitriol with which they have brutally attacked ANY opposition, but most notably members of the tea party movement.  The MSM and other groups such as the NAACP and SEIU have screamed to all that the only reason for ANY opposition to the anointed one was obviously based purely on racism by the dissenters. They conveniently ignored the FACT that some members of the tea party ARE minorities themselves. They were also uninterested when polling showed that there were even some democrats in the group. They then introduced a new mantra, people are angry, scared, and uninformed or they would be capable of grasping and supporting the policy decisions that were made by the POTUS and his stooges. I was honestly agast at the horrible and derogatory labels the dems used while campaigning. Did they truly believe that by insulting and belittling differing opinions they would somehow persuade people to vote for them? They even said that the polls were wrong, and the dems would prove this with an election day victory.

Here we are less than a week later, and it appears as if the prez and Ms Pelosi STILL do not comprehend the repudiation that was heaped upon them by the election results. In fact, though BO said it felt "bad" to lose so horribly, the policies of his administration were NOT to blame!!?? He is still whining that he just should have been a better communicator and a stronger persuader to get the folks to support his vision. The results in no way were a reflection of the abysmal failure of this man's "leadership" skills.

Pelosi granted an interview, and she is saying clearly that she has "NO REGRETS" about the manner in which they have governed in the last 22 months. Due purely to herself, Reid, and BO there are going to be a whole slew of unemployed dem lawmakers come January. The actions of their leadership and the bribes they used to garner votes for their socialist agenda are just a couple of reason why the dems were so soundly defeated. Additionally, during the HCR debate, BO and his crew REFUSED to listen (or even pretend to listen) to ANY ideas from anyone else. They just kept changing the rules, twisting arms, and buying the needed votes to implement the WORST piece of legislation in history. It certainly seems as if Pelosi's prediction about liking it AFTER we passed it and were then allowed to "see what is in it" has NOT been proved to be accurate.

I love this nation, and I appreciate the freedoms we are granted by God and our constitution. However, the progressives that have taken over the democrat party truly believe that it is their duty and right to determine which rights and privileges we have. Since this man was inaugurated, I have seen my federal government do things I could have never dreamed in my worst nightmares. They have no respect for the law, no regard for the constitution, and they must be completely DEAF to the voices of the people. Only after this repudiation of their ideals have they decided it may be time to compromise with the leaders of the GOP. Funny, huh? When they had control they were uninterested in even listening much less compromising. The only thing I desire is a federal gov that LISTENS to the will of those they govern. I pray that for the next 2 years, they CAN find a way to help this nation, but not if the dem idea of compromise is the repubs just giving in to their demands. Based on what I have seen since this regime was empowered, I just don't think they understand the meaning of compromise, just like Barry doesn't understand the word transparency.  I had hope that this election would serve as a wake-up call to the dem leaders that people are mighty tired of nasty labels and being ignored. From what I have seen and heard from them since the election, I am very disheartened that these guys will EVER comprehend that most Americans like freedom, like captialism, and DISlike government expansion and over-reach. I suppose only time wil tell.
