Obama's friends and Enemies

 Here we are nearly eighteen months into the new administration of hope, change, and transformation. How is it working out for you? I must say that for me and my family, there haven't been too many noticeable changes, except for the fact that I am currently bringing home about $120.00 less per year as he allowed some of the Bush tax cuts to expire. Additionally, I can see how the change is affecting some of my neighbors. The man who lives in the house next door to us lost one coal mining job--due to tougher permit restrictions--and was forced to take a job further from home. This has two effects for him and his family, less money because of increased gasoline usage, and less time with his wife and child because he must drive further to reach his job.  He has admitted to voting for Obama--remember, the UMWA urged their members to support this man; he has also admitted to regretting his choice as it has had an effect on his life.

This week, the news had been positively overflowing with information about some policy changes being made by the BO white house. First, he has basically INVITED our enemies to attack the American homeland at will. He has taken the option of a nuclear response from us right off the table. NEVER in our history has an administration made such a foolhardy and reckless decision. Consider the message this sends to those extremists--we cannot use the term "Islamic Extremists" anymore--who wish all of us dead. If I were in that group, it would seem like a mighty fine time to start planning a major attack on a major American city. There is nothing left to fear; the world knows the short attention span of the American public, and if they need have no fear of nukes, maybe an attack is a chance worth taking. These folks view suicide as an honorable death, and if they successfully take some Americans with them, they get the whole virgin thing from allah. I bet in their opinion, they were just given a pass. It seems they are not really considered enemies. Remember a progressive mantra--NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE. IF we were attacked, then BO would TRY to step up as our leader and talk a big game. I think he would be busily hatching schemes in which the catastrophe will allow him to further curtail our freedoms in the name of security.

Today, BO and the Russian Medvedev signed a treaty decreasing the number of nukes in the arsenals of each nation. WOW! The MSM (mainstream media) has hailed this from the rooftops. In my opinion, it is much ado about nothing. I don't really think Russia is a huge security threat to us at this point as they are also fighting their own internal terrorism battles. However, I suppose the gesture alone places them on BO's friends list.  

What about America's historically strong alliance with Israel, the only truly free democracy in the middle east region? Well, by the rudeness shown to their PM and the lectures they have received about new settlements in the West Bank, I guess they ARE on the enemies list of BO. I know I would never treat a friend in the manner that this administration has treated Israel.

Next, the American people. Where do we stand? From all I have seen, read, and heard, this one is still a bit murky. BO has stated NUMEROUS times that job creation is the top priority of this administration. I know, I too find this nearly unbelievable. As our unemployment rate has hovered around 10 percent for nearly a year, what has this administration really done in the way of job creation? NOT A DAMN THING!! They wasted over a year focusing solely(pretty much solely) on force feeding this healthcare crap to the public. This one law alone will do nothing but ADD to the unemployment rate. Small business which is historically a huge supplier of jobs is to scared to hire, because they are not quite sure just what is expected of them to comply with this new healthcare law. Remember, BO has stated on a few occasions that the time for profit is not now. If you own a business, you MUST make profit, or you will be unable to pay your employees and yourself. Seems to me that small businesses are on the enemies list.

What about big business? If you are a member of a union--like SEIU--than you are at least close to the friends list. BO has repeatedly demonized banks, doctors, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and some car companies. That was while he was reading his teleprompter to us. Behind closed doors, he has given special deals (bribes) to his union thug buddies to insure their support for healthcare reform. He has tried to cut some deals with doctors and insurers, but he still speaks ill of them most of the time. I am unsure about which list they are truly on.

Now, let me be clear, based on the actions and words of Mr. Obumma,  his enemies list is a bit longer than his friends list. He has personally named and called out Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and the entire Fox News Network. He actually had his mouthpieces try to  act like Fox is not a legitimate news outlet. Too bad for him that their rating are higher than CNN and MSNBC combined. If I were in his position, I am smart enough to realize that many people get their news fromFox, and if I want the support of any of those people, I better give Fox a bit of respect. When BO did finally grant an interview, he was his typical arrogant, thin-skinned angry self. He really just does not understand the psyche of most Americans. Perhaps that is a side effect of spending much of his youth in muslim nations.

At this point, the Obumma administration is really proud of themselves. They managed to lie, cheat, and bribe their way to passage of a HUGELY unpopular healthcare reform that may ultimately insure the insolvency of our republic. They have saddled our children and grandchildren with debt that is owned by CHINA and they may not even live long enough to see it paid. Our nuclear arsenal has been reduced and our enemies have been given an open invite to attack without fear. We must now talk AROUND the war on terror because Barry will not stomach the chance that we may offend the "good" muslims. He has stated America is no longer a Christian nation. He wants to work toward giving illegal aliens a pass and citizenship--including government healthcare. He plans on a cap and tax bill that will further stretch the budget of American families already overburdened because they will pay astronomically more for their energy. In my opinion, these moves show pretty clearly that  average Americans and our families are on the enemies list. God help us all.
