The Dumbest "Smart" President Ever

Ever since the newcomer, Barack Obama, began emerging as a democratic party favorite, the MSM and the talking heads have all gushed about the astounding intelligence possessed by this magnificent man. There were print articles and tv pieces to tell all us common folk how intellectually gifted this man is and how thankful we should be that he has deigned to grace our government with his unparallelled intelligence. Well, I am sorry that I won't just beg to differ, I AM differing. There is always a NEW story about the anointed one that demands a deeper examination of this man's purported genius. While writing a brief outline of what I wanted to include in this hub, I remembered nearly 10 things that belie the veracity of those who still swoon about our president, and it took less than five minutes to come up with those things.

I will begin with some of the earliest exhibits of his idiocy. Recall the Reverend Wright, who preached at the church Obama attended for 20 years? TWENTY YEARS!! That "preacher" used language I have never heard from ANY pulpit. However, the brainiac apparently isn't fluent in English, or he is just flat-out lying when he insists he NEVER heard any of Wright's hate speech....interesting!

After taking office, Obama began staffing his administration. He appointed Van Jones as the "green jobs czar". When it was exposed, pretty quickly, that Jones was a proud and admitted communist AND a 9-11 "truther", Mr.Jones tendered his resignation to the president. Gee, I wonder if he resigned voluntarily, or did someone in the BO regime actually have the common sense to ASK for the resignation. If I were the prez, and this was exposed about one of my people, I would FIRE him, not just wait for a resignation. Of course, had the guys working for BO done THEIR job and properly vetted this man, the whole situation could have been avoided. There is also the possibility that BO already knew about the radicalism of Jones, and chose him anyway hoping nobody would notice. While I am on the topic of green jobs, today we discovered that a corporation that was lent 535 MILLION fed tax dollars to produce solar panels---and a plant where BO gave a speech about the magnificence of the corporation a mere 15 months ago----is now going out of business. This closure will eliminate at least 1000 jobs. We sure got our money's worth out of that investment didn't we?

Next, there was an incident in Cambridge, MA involving a Harvard prof and the local police. The police had been alerted to a possible burglary,and they had the audacity to do their job!! These officers asked to see the identification of Prof. Gates, and instead of just showing the id, Gates decided to act like a fool and got himself arrested. You know how BO doesn't really like to take any firm positions on much of anything? Well, he sure jumped to a foolish conclusion on this case and promptly inserted his foot into the mouth with his golden tongue. He said the police had acted "stupidly"!! In general, police try to make the best decisions they can with the info they have, after being verbally abused by Gates, they treated him as they would ANY citizen who had acted thusly, and they took him to jail. I wish the prez had held his mouth shut on that one until he had bothered to get all the facts.

I also believe they have eliminated the office of protocol in this administration. He returned a bust of Churchill to the UK (smack in the face to our closest ally) THEN he gifted the Queen with an i-pod and a set of recordings of the brilliant speeches of the most brilliant man. She must have been really overjoyed!! While we are talking about America's allies, let us not forget the abysmal manner in which he has repeatedly treated Israel. I don't think BO has many fans in that nation either.

How about the controversial mosque at ground zero? Another example of the waffler extraordinaire!! He first said they had a constitutional right to build there. DUH!! When the folks began to take that as an endorsement of the mosque, BO decided to squirm around a bit and add to his earlier pronouncement of constitutionality. He followed up by brilliantly declaring that he would not comment on the "wisdom" of that site. WOW, glad he cleared that up for us.

Before the midterm elections last November, BO worked hard to help his dems win or retain their seats in congress. While campaigning for his guys, he said republicans should "sit in the back" of the governing group. I personally found that insulting. To make it worse again, he spoke to a group of Latino constituents, and he urged them to "punish" their enemies....you know, those evil republicans and their respect for the rule of law, including immigration law. It was the first time I had heard a president refer to a large group of citizens, in his own country as enemies; again, I was offended.

Fast forward to this past January and the aftermath of the horrible murders in Tucson, AZ. Mr. Obama gave a really great speech and even had me believing some of his words. MY BAD!! He urged more civility in political discourse. Well, here it is 7 months later, and it looks like even the members of his own party ignored THAT speech. Just this week, the congressional black caucus has been using inflammatory and racist imagery against the tea party specifically, and conservatives in general. One would think he could at least get his own party to listen. Think what it could do to help the dem cause if they DID use more civility. They would then be free to smear the right even more by exposing any uncivil talk coming out of them.

I do not begrudge the president a vacation with his family; it is a difficult job he has, and he needs to relax and spend some time with his family. I do think it is incredibly insensitive to the unemployed and suffering citizens that rather than travel together, as they were going to the same locale, the first family felt the need to use TWO JETS. This simply made things cost twice as much. Of course, the one thing BO is never shy about is wasting tax dollars as fast as he can. At least he did tell us he would be reading the teleprompter to us again soon after his return. Sadly, this speech will just be more class warfare, finger pointing, and whining. Oh, let us also remember that this mental giant didn't bother to look at any schedules for anything when choosing his date to speak. He agreed to move it from his first chosen date---due to a long-scheduled repub prez debate--and has relocated it to the night of the opening of the NFL season. If he is incapable of reading a schedule or a calendar, he could probably hire somebody to do that for him. Maybe this person could be the Czar of Itinerary.

I really hope to get some comments here. I beg you to give me some cold, hard facts that will support the premise that we are blessed to have such a smart leader!
